In 2012, I moved to Seattle, Washington from New England. Since I moved into a Retirement facility, I decided to change the focus of my blogging. Now, instead of dealing with only "outside gardening", I also deal with "windowsill gardening".
Since I am chairman of the Garden Committee here, I do address outside issues. I have to admit that being a Master Gardener in Connecticut and New Hampshire does not qualify me as a Master Gardener in the Pacific Northwest! However, at my advanced age, I'm not about to embark on another Master Gardening course, therefore I'll apply the skills that work for ALL gardening. After all, plants grow pretty much the same way no matter where they are! I should be able to handle that!!
At any rate, my A Transplanted Gardener blog is my current "work". I hope you'll visit me!

I have also begun to put together a calendar blog for "Windowsill Gardening". It is a bit of a slow "slog" because there is such a variety of plants, and it's difficult to narrow down things that ALL of them need at the same time.
There will be a SPRING; SUMMER; AUTUMN; AND WINTER calendar. They will repeat. I will attempt to add new findings as the years go along, and as I find new information. So, you will see the same listings season after season. Bear with me. There will be a lot of copying. At the beginning of the season, I'll try to add new stuff. I will then post what I have. Some will be repeated from years past...and some will be new. Hopefully, the posts will prove helpful!
